Happy Pi Day! Featuring Betty's Pies Bumbleberry Pie Recipe

It's impossible for me to think about really good pie without thinking about Betty's Pies in Two Harbor's, Minnesota. Ok... I'll be honest. It's impossible for me to even think about Pi (3.14159265359) without thinking about Betty's Pies. Pitiful, right?

It's an annual trek for us up to the north shore for a camping trip near Tofte, and we always HAVE to stop in Two Harbors at Betty's.

I usually double up on the pie - starting with a pasty (a sort of beef and potato pie) and finishing with bumbleberry pie.
